Tea Parties: A Disambiguation

Just in case someone who doesn't know me or my views too well runs across this page, let me make it clear this has nothing to do with the American political movement known as the 'Tea Party'. Despite my love of tea parties, I have no love for the 'Tea Party', and frankly I find anyone dragging such a delightful beverage into something like politics to be High Teason. Jokes aside, I disagree with pretty much everything I've heard spouted by rabid teabaggers, and though I'm sure their may be some sane (perhaps even civil) persons among their ranks, I've yet to meet them. All in all, I'd like to leave politics out of this blog - not because I think they don't matter (quite the contrary though I tend to be quieter about my views and prefer to let my votes do the talking) - but because I believe that most folks who care enough to actually vote have already made up their minds, meaning anything I post would either be preaching to the choir or kicking a hornet's nest and I really have no interest in doing either. Now that that's been dealt with, sit back and read to your heart's content,  preferably with a lovely cup of your favorite tea!
